Appointments are required for all trips to the store, whether to find your dream gown or to pick up an order. For appointments you will have your own personal consultant to help you shop and find your dream dress. Make An Appointment
Depending on what you're shopping for your appointment time will vary. For Bridal appointments, budget 1 hour and 30 minutes (most brides find their dress in less time!). If you come during the week, appointment times maybe able to be extended depending on scheduling for that day. For bridesmaids budget about 1 hour and 30 minutes, for Social Occasion, budget about 1 hour, and for Tux & Suit Styling Appointments budget about 1 hour. Make An Appointment
During this time we have set amounts of people that can be brought to the store for safety reasons. For Bridal appointments you can bring 3 people, for bridesmaids you can bring two people other than the bride, for Mother of the Bride/Groom you can bring one other person, Menswear Styling two people total can attend. If you have a strapless bra we highly recommend you bring that with to get a good idea what your dress will look like.
Most of our bridal gowns rang from about $799 and go up to about $3,000 depending on fabric, construction, embellishments and the designer. We also have one of a kind gowns and sample gowns priced from about $499. Bridesmaid dresses with Amelishan are high quality, expertly sized and made to order, They start at about $150 and go up to about $300. Mother of the Bride and Groom gowns range from about $200 to about $600. Tuxedos and Suits range from full packages starting at $169 for full rental packages, and $299 for full suit purchase packages.
In Amelishan's bridal department there are over 600 dresses that range from size 8 to 16. We pride ourselves knowing that we offer the largest selection in the Milwaukee of women size sample gowns. With over 150 plus size dresses in store, our women's bridal department has dresses that range from size 18 to 28W. Our bridesmaid department has sample dresses that range from size 8 to size 16. We do also carry a large selection of our best sellers in our womens department with sizes ranging from 18 to 28W.
About 40% of our bridesmaids are from out of town and order their dresses with no hassle. We offer a free phone consultation to discuss their measurements and help show them where their measurements fall on the size chart so they can order the dress that's best for them.
Amelishan Bridal recommends that bridal gowns be purchased nine to twelve months before your wedding date. This will allow the time to order your gown without a rush and the needed time for alterations. Depending on where your alterations are done, some seamstresses need two to five months to complete alterations. Amelishan Bridal recommends that bridesmaid's dresses, mother's dresses, and social occasion dresses be purchased at least 6 months prior to the wedding or event date. This timeframe will allow the dresses to come in without a rush fee. This also allows the proper time for alterations as well. Amelishan Bridal carries multiple social occasion dresses and mothers dresses in store ready to be purchased off of the rack. With over 1000 dresses in store, you are bound to find the perfect dress!
Once you purchase your dress your Stylist will provide you with a vetted list of exceptionally skilled Seamstresses in the Milwaukee and surrounding areas. Amelishan does not provide alterations in house.
